Waiting

Today is my day off from work and I spend it waiting for others. Trisha and I wanted to go to Ogdensburg to Fashion Bug early today but instead we are waiting for Nathalie. She has a WIC appointment this afternoon and wants to go with us. So we wait and wait and wait.

In the meantime, I spend time with the grandchildren; put Katie to sleep; and tend to my farm. Everything is the same day after day. Work. Waste time. Clean house. Listen to grandchildren whine. And do it all over again. The grandchildren have colds and are cranky. The adults are cranky. We are all waiting for Spring to STAY and change our lives. We are really sick and tired of cold and snow, etc.

I am reading The Time Traveler's Wife. I love the book and can't put it down. I will see the movie after the book but I know that the movie will be a disappointment. It always is.

I signed up for a craft exchange hosted by Craftaholics Anonymous . This is my 3rd summer participating. I choose this small organizing wallet to make for my partner.  This is the first wallet I have made and I think it turned out well. I follow a blog called Sew Can She . They have many cool craft tutorials featuring different tutorials from other blogs. So, the pattern actually came from LBG Studio . Next time, I will know what I'm doing and will make a few changes.  Front view. Open view Back view Inside Left. Inside Right. The right pocket is just big enough to put a small memo pad in. Also the left side holds cards or whatever you would like. I think it's a really neat thing to have in your purse. One always needs paper for something and extra room for do-dads. Also, kids would love this. I'm going to make some more for the granddaughters.

My Little Girls Birthday!

Today is my oldest child's birthday. She is 26 years old. Not a little girl anymore. Although, she will always by a little girl to me. She has a lovely disposition and it amazes me how she turned out that way having the parents that she has. We are anything but lovely. lol. I am looking forward to watching her grow even more into the woman she will become. I love you, Patricia Marie O'Donnell, with all my heart!!

This is what I felt like after work today. It's what I feel like and look like when people are all at me at the same time demanding things from me relentlessly without any regards to me and my plans. If you are asking me to help you out and take you somewhere, then by god, it will be on MY terms and when I can fit you in! Not the other way around. And please don't spring things on me last minute. This is why I seem like a bitch and blow up in your face. I can only take so much. And yes; 2 of my family members have been told repeatedly. So, I really don't feel bad about my behavior.
